The University of Florida College of Pharmacy awarded the three prestigious fellowships at a virtual award ceremony Oct. 13.

Lingineni’s award-winning research features the development of a quantitative disease progression model of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Cristofoletti joined the college in 2019 as a research assistant professor and assumed his new tenure-track position on July 1, 2020.

The award was established in 1979 and recognizes the outstanding scientific achievements in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and chemistry.

Kim will lead a research team charged with developing a mathematical model-based clinical trial simulation tool using magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy data of patients with DMD collected through the ImagingDMD project at UF.

The award will support development of a web-based application to enhance student learning of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics processes and its importance in tailoring drug regimens.

The International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, or ISAC, has awarded the merit title of ISAC-Fellow to Hartmut Derendorf, Ph.D., a distinguished professor emeritus in the University of Florida College of Pharmacy.

Schmidt will lead the Center for Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology's research and education programs, which focus on drug development and regulatory science.
