About Chang-Keun Cho
Chang-Keun Cho, Pharm.D., Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. He earned his Pharm.D. from Sungkyunkwan University in Suwon, South Korea, in 2018, and his Ph.D. in pharmacy from the same institution in 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Seok-Yong Lee. He was a postdoctoral researcher and part-time instructor at Sungkyunkwan University until early 2025 and joined Dr. Stephan Schmidt’s group at the University of Florida as a visiting scholar in mid-2025.
Dr. Cho’s research focuses on the development of drug–disease–trial modeling platforms for chronic neurodegenerative disorders. In parallel, he develops pharmacometric models to characterize individual variability in drug response arising from genetic variations, special populations, and drug–drug interactions. He published 24 peer-reviewed manuscripts. He received the Next-Generation Pharmacologist Award from the Korean Society of Pharmacology in 2023 and the SKKU President Fellowship from Sungkyunkwan University in 2025.
