About Zuo Ding
Zuo Ding received a B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology from Purdue University in 2016 and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2021. Under the mentorship of Professor Shuang Huang, her doctoral research focused on drug resistance mechanisms in ovarian cancer and triple-negative breast cancer. In 2022, she joined Professor Mei He’s research group, where her research centers on engineering extracellular vesicles for high-throughput drug loading and targeted tissue delivery. Her goal is to advance the manufacturing of therapeutic extracellular vesicles and translate them from the research lab to clinical applications.
